IDC “EFFECT” Application Instruction

Application Areas:

1. The detergent is designed for washing and degreasing of metal surfaces from lubricants and hydrocoarbon coumpounds after mechanical processing, before painting and plating, as well as before repair and fault detection (It is used for washing of cisterns and cleaning of  CHP heat exchangers  in machine-building industry).;
2. for hydrocarbons separation from aqueous media (oil displacement agent) for washing, desalination and recultivation of soils;
3. for washing of sewage and plumbing systems, for reduction of  harmful substances concentration at industrial enterprises and  community facilities; for degreasing of leather and fur (More detailed description of this application).

Solution Preparation:

To prepare water: for example, 50 liters of water.

To heat it up to 30-60°С and add 10 liters of solution. .

Usual concentration - 1:5, 1:10, 1:20,1:100 (degreasing before plating, powder spraying, fault detection and aggregate assembly. .

Concentration can be reduced depending on surface contamination.

To stir obtained solution and detergent is ready to work.

The detergent is efficient under temperature from  +30 to +100°.

Application method:

Washing and degreasing with the use of IDC “EFFECT” should be carried out:

-       in jet washers (washing machine should be cleaned  from washing agent used before:

-       by hand  (with the use of  jet guns or  brushes);

-       in ultrasonic washing machines.

Jet washing is the most effective, as the combination of high pressure and working solution  temperature makes it possible to remove  the most severe contamination from both ferrous and non-ferrous metals surface.

In washing operations continuous supply of detergent is used , involving a pump and an intermediate settling basin for impurities precipitation and hydrocarbon admixtures separation.

For washing and degreasing of sculptured surfaces it is necessary to use high pressure equipment with  injection reagent supply and heating loop; in this process washing and passivation (protection from corrosion) are carried out simulteneously.

Hot air drying provides anticorrosion activation and components in-process storage for the period of up to 1 000 hours without any corrosion. .

The detergent  has demulsifying properties,  hence all oil impurities removed from the surface of components being washed, float to the top, thus purifying working solution.

Oil and fatty film formed at the solution surface, should be removed through an upper drain or partition after settling.  .

Solution Correction:

Solution can be used for a long time. Correction is carried out by adding only water  till working solution depletion. .

Transportation and Storage:

TIDC “EFFECT” can be shipped by any transport means.

IDC “EFFECT” must be stored in vacuum-packed plastic containers at storage facilities.  .

IDC “EFFECT” is non-toxic, fire and explosion safe and stable in any storage conditions.

Warranty Period:

IDC “EFFECT” storage life is 24 months from the date of manufacture.

Composition:

IDC “EFFECT” detergent is produced  as solvent in the form of conserved  amorphous mixture of non-ionogenic surface-active substances, inorganic salts and other specialized additives.

Hydrogen exponent  is рН=9.0. Free alkali content in terms of water NaOH  may be from  0.07 до 0.1% of mechanical admixtures.
