Recultivation
SOIL CLEANING FROM OIL AND OIL PRODUCTS, LIQUIDATION OF SPILLS CONSEQUENCES
Soil cleaning from oil products (new oil spills) are carried out in recultivating plants or in mixing hoppers by adding IDC “EFFECT” concentrate to technical circulating water (TCW) in the ratio 1:5-1:10;1:20-1:30 (1 liter of IDC “EFFECT” per 5-30 liters of water). After settling or centrifugal separation oil product driven out to the surface of technical circulating water, is removed and TCW is used in a closed cycle. Correction of technical circulating water is carried out for every 15 m2 of spill or 3 m3 of oil-contaminated ground. После промывки грунт не требует доочистки биологическим способом, выделенный нефтепродукт может быть использован, а ТОВ сливается на обработанном участке, где происходит его полное разложение. Washed soil does not require post-treatment with the use of biological methods and separated oil product is fit for use. TCW is discharged at a cultivated plot where its ultimate biodegradation occurs. .
OIL CONTAMINATION OF SOILS
This problem can be solved with the use of a processing plant and biodegradable surface active agent IDC “EFFECT”. The problem of recultivation of lands contaminated with oil and oil products is practically not solved, though a wide range of ways and methods for their restoration exist in the world. During accidental oil spills top soil and ground horizons are contaminated up to their full oil capacity which depends on their effective porous-fissured space. Therefore, in recultivation of recently contaminated areas the application of biological methods is not effective because of excessive soil toxicity.
We have developed the physicochemical method of such soils recultivation with the use of a processing plant and solution of ecologically safe rinse agent IDC “EFFECT”. IDC “EFFECT” causes oil product displacement from soil or ground mass under the impact of processes occurring at the processing plant. The proven method of the use of IDC “EFFECT” and a processing plant in a single complex for cleaning of oi- contaminated soils and grounds considerably reduces costs and terms of fertile soil layer restoration.
The given technology is the most effective and economically efficient in cleaning soils, grounds and coastal zones of water basins contaminated with oil and oil products. The capacity of a mobile processing plant on the basis of the KAMAZ semitrailer is 10-12 tons of soil (volume of solids), or 15 tons of oil- contaminated soil. After processing plants on oil contaminated lands with a weak solution of IDC “EFFECT” their growth is accelerated due to the process of IDC “EFFECT” biodegradation, reduced toxicity of hydrocarbon chains and enhanced process of plants photosynthesis.
